Terms of Service

Stashed is a tool for tracking a trading-card collection like a portfolio: you record what you hold, and we show you estimated market values, recent sale prices, and how your collection has changed over time. Market data is gathered from publicly available third-party marketplaces and price sources and is presented as an estimate.

Trademarks

Stashed is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game’s publisher or licensor, any card marketplace, or any grading company.

The names, logos, set names and card artwork of the games we support are the trademarks and copyrights of their owners, including Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. (Pokémon); Bandai (One Piece Card Game); Riot Games (Riftbound); and Disney and Ravensburger (Disney Lorcana). PSA, BGS and CGC are trademarks of their respective grading companies, and marketplace names belong to their operators. We use these names and images only to identify the items you track.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Apple, Google or Discord. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@stashed.sh promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

During early access, accounts are opened by invitation from the waitlist. We may limit, pause or close sign-ups at any time.

The information you enter — your portfolios, the items and lots you record, purchase prices, conditions, sale records, notes, binders, and your wishlist with its price targets — is your content. You keep ownership of it. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of providing the Service to you, and for no other purpose.

We may compute aggregate, de-identified statistics from usage of the Service (for example, how many users hold a given card) to operate and improve the product. Such statistics never identify you or disclose your individual holdings.

You can export or delete your content by contacting support@stashed.sh. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Market prices, valuations, price histories, graded-card prices, sale comparables, and the value and profit or loss we show for your collection are estimates. We compute them from completed sales and price data gathered from third-party marketplaces and other sources that we do not control.

That means a figure in the Service can be:

• incomplete or out of date — a marketplace may not report every sale, may report one late, or may later withdraw or correct it;
• wrong — a sale can be mislabelled, filed under the wrong card, print, condition or grade, cancelled, or made at an unusual price, and our matching of sales to cards is automated;
• not what your copy is worth — the value of a particular card depends on its exact condition, print and grade, and on what a buyer will pay for it on the day; a thinly traded card may have few or no recent sales to go on.

Figures in the Service are not an appraisal, not an insurance valuation, and not an offer by anyone to buy or sell anything.

Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Stashed is not a licensed financial adviser, broker or appraiser. Decisions to buy, sell, hold, grade or insure cards are yours alone, and you should verify any figure independently before relying on it.

Price alerts and notifications

Wishlist price alerts and other notifications are a convenience. They can arrive late, not arrive at all, or be triggered by a price that is later corrected, and an email or push notification may be delayed or blocked by your provider or device. Do not rely on them for a decision that has to be made at a particular time.

Features described as “coming” on our website are not yet part of the Service and are not promised by these terms.

You agree not to:

• access the Service by automated means (scrapers, bots, bulk API calls) other than through the official Stashed apps, or attempt to extract our market-data corpus in bulk;
• circumvent rate limits, authentication, or any access control;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other users or the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we log account activity for the purpose of detecting abuse.

Tracking your collection is free. We plan to offer a paid plan with additional features, and those features are free during the open beta. Before you are ever charged, the price, billing terms and cancellation terms will be shown to you and you will have to agree to them. We will give existing users reasonable notice before any feature they use becomes paid.

The Service is provided during early access and may change, break or be unavailable without notice. We may add, modify or remove features, and we may discontinue the Service; if we do, we will make reasonable efforts to let you export your content first.

Market data refreshes on a schedule and may lag the underlying marketplaces. A price shown as current may be hours or days old.

The Service, including its software, design, name and logo, is owned by Stashed and protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give you no right to use the Stashed name or marks.

Signing in with Apple, Google or Discord is subject to those providers’ terms. Card images may be served from third-party content networks. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT VALUATIONS OR OTHER DATA ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STASHED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR THE VALUE OF ANY COLLECTIBLE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR FROM RELIANCE ON ANY VALUATION OR DATA IT DISPLAYS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You will defend and indemnify Stashed against claims arising from your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@stashed.sh. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 3, 4 and 10 through 15 survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you non-waivable rights, nothing here removes them.

Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@stashed.sh; most issues can be resolved directly.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Stashed about the Service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor that operates the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
